American rapper Cardi B has welcomed her fourth child and her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, American football player. The 33-year-old superstar shared the joyful news through an Instagram video announcing the arrival of her newest baby while promoting her latest song, “Hello,” from her newly released second studio album, Am I The Drama?, which dropped on September 19.
In the announcement, Cardi is seen confidently strutting to the track, marking a symbolic introduction to her next chapter. In her caption, she reflected on her life as a series of evolving phases. “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” she wrote. “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy, but it’s been so worth it.”
The rapper expressed that welcoming a new child is part of her continued personal and artistic rebirth following her second album release. “I brought new music and a new album to the world. A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me,” she wrote. “One more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else, so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
Cardi, born Belcalis Almanzar, did not disclose the exact date of her baby’s birth. However, sources say that the rapper welcomed a baby boy last week. She later confirmed the gender in a short Instagram Stories clip, where she admired two pink strollers. Laughing, she said, “I just had a boy. I love this stroller.”
Speculation about the birth first surfaced on November 13, after a video showing the rapper at a gym without her baby bump made rounds on social media. In the clip, filmed the same day, Cardi sat on a bench looking at her phone after a workout, sparking immediate rumours online.
Cardi officially confirmed her pregnancy on September 17 during an interview, following weeks of heavy speculation. At the time, she shared that she felt grounded and ready for what was ahead. “I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she said.
Her partner, Stefon Diggs, had already revealed the baby’s gender prior to the birth. In an interview with People magazine published on November 3, Diggs said, “It’s a boy. That’s enough for me. I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”
Cardi and Diggs made their relationship Instagram official in June 2025, following months of dating rumours. Their romance became public several months after Cardi split from her husband, American rapper Offset, in 2024. Cardi shares three children with Offset, now aged seven, four, and one.
Diggs also has two daughters from previous relationships; a nine-year-old and a seven-month-old infant born to model Aileen Lopera.
