Taylor Swift Overtakes Drake and Rihanna for Most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 Hits This Century

The 36-year-old singer has reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which was written for the upcoming Disney and Pixar film Toy Story 5. According to Billboard, the achievement marks Swift’s 15th No. 1 single on the prestigious chart.

With this latest success, Swift moves into third place among artists with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers. She now trails only the Beatles, who hold the record with 20 No. 1 hits, and Mariah Carey with 19. The milestone also allows Swift to surpass both Rihanna and Drake, who each have 14 No. 1 singles to their names.

Fans were recently treated to a special surprise when Swift made an unexpected appearance at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles. Following the screening, she took to the piano and delivered the first live performance of “I Knew It, I Knew You,” earning an enthusiastic response from the audience. Swift wrote the song specifically for the film and has previously shared her admiration for the beloved Toy Story franchise.

Toy Story 5 is scheduled to premiere in U.S. theaters on June 19, while audiences in German-speaking Switzerland will be able to see the film starting July 23. The movie marks the return of one of animation’s most iconic series, whose last installment was released in 2019.
